Bank Street Office Building, Ottawa, Ontario

This project involved the design and construction of a four-storey, 11,700 square foot office building on a 0.1 ha site located at the corner of Bank Street and Collins Avenue in Ottawa, Ontario. The design sought to create a strong architectural form with a blended massing of transparent and opaque building materials that anchored this highly visible urban streetscape. The site is steeply sloped along Collins Avenue and the grade change was utilized to transition from a 4-storey building facing Bank Street to a 3-story building abutting the neighbouring residential properties with parking provided at the rear and screened from view by the building form along Bank Street.
